It is most likely that you will be introduced to via a new window that pops up at a certain time. This is because the hijacker is most likely to be controlled using a scheduled task that is set to launch your default browser and open the suspicious web page. Even if that has happened once, you should not waste your time waiting for the next occurrence because you do not want malware and undesirable software to be running on your PC for another moment. As soon as you discover the hijacker, scan your operating system using a legitimate and reputable malware scanner. Remove right away if it is found. If the scanner suggests that your PC is clean, make sure to check and, possibly, reinforce security to ensure that you do not face malware.

Once the scheduled task is set up, the suspicious page will be introduced to you automatically. Notably, the occurrence should be periodical, which means that the page will be shown to you in certain periods; for example, every 30 minutes (the periods could be much shorter or longer). If you go to %WINDIR%\Tasks\ or %WINDIR%\System32\Tasks, you can find all scheduled tasks. Although is unlikely to hide its scheduled tasks, their names might be random. The website displays a ton of news articles that are in Russian, and the “поиск в интернете” search tool redirects to Google. You should not interact to any of the content linked to the hijacker because it could be malicious and misleading. Even if you are familiar with Google, and you trust it, keep in mind that the results shown to you could be presented by the hijacker itself. Also, it is possible that when the suspicious page is opened in a new browser’s window, you could be redirected to a completely unfamiliar page. Furthermore, there is no official information regarding the threat, and it would be naive to expect it to work in a beneficial and trustworthy manner. It is too unpredictable to trust! In general, if you face this threat, instead of interacting with it, you need to delete it as soon as possible.
