Shareaza Toolbar is a browser toolbar which can be installed onto your Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome alongside Shareaza software. The application is a P2P program which is presented as safe to use. It enables the user to download unlimited amounts of music, share his or her profile, and customize the interface of the program.
The toolbar which is promoted by the software is actually named Music Toolbar. In the Programs and Features applet, you will find that there are different components for each of the browsers. We recommend that you remove the toolbar for it can also change the settings of the browsers.
When you click Next, you are offered to install Torch, a web browser. It is based on Google Chrome, so if you already use this browser, you may not need the Torch browser at all.
Some music lovers may find Shareaza Toolbar very useful as it features a music artist search, a link to a song lyrics website and a radio player. However, if you have installed the toolbar accidentally and also have had the home page changed to search.ask.com, you may like to restore the former settings.
We recommend that you remove the toolbar as the search engine that you probably have on your browsers provides advertisements. They are presented as search results under the title Ads. Ignore those links as some of them may be insecure links aimed at infecting your PC once you click the link.
If you want to protect your privacy, implement a reliable spyware removal tool. We recommend that you use SpyHunter as it can remove Shareaze Toolbar, protect your privacy, and save your time.
