Not to mention that if you click the download button, you will be greeted with a message that says the program is currently unavailable. This means that the primary distribution method employed by Surf Safer (at least at the moment) is software bundles. Whenever you download a freeware application from a file-sharing website, you have to keep in mind that Surf Safer might come with it. Adware apps are often distributed via third-party installers, and users are simply too lazy to read all the installation wizard steps to leave unwanted programs out.
