By clicking on one of the suggestions, a page containing more detailed results will be opened. In this case, the address box will show that you are dealing with search.smartaddressbar.com. The offers that lead you to search.smartaddressbar.com can be easily recognized as they contain the icon of Smart Address bar.

We recommend you remove this application in order not to be provided with irrelevant hits which, for example, may be insecure websites. As for the removal, you should bear in mind that it depends on how you acquired the application. If you have downloaded it from the official website, you will find it in Control Panel. How to remove Smart Address Bar

Windows Vista/7

1. Click Start - > Control Panel.
2. Click Uninstall a program.
3. Double-click Smart Address Bar (Smart Address Bar for IE).

Windows XP

1. Open the Start menu.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Select Add or Remove Programs.
4. Select Smart Address Bar and click the Remove button.

Windows 8

1. Hover the mouse over the bottom left corner of the screen.
2. Right-click the minimized Start Screen/desktop.
3. Click Control Panel - > Uninstall a program.
4. Double-click Smart Address Bar.

Remove Smart Address Bar from the browsers

Internet Explorer

1. Press Alt+T.
2. Select Manage Add-ons.
3. Click Toolbars and Extensions.
4. Remove Smart Address Bar if it is there.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Press and hold down the Ctrl key, do not release it and press and hold down the Shift key and press A.
2. In the Extensions section, remove Smart Address Bar.
