  3. Then navigate to this path: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
  4. Search for another folder called kpcijmdjpgpkndihacfcbidnehmcapgi, right-click too and select Delete.

Erase from other Google Chrome profiles

  1. Access the Explorer (Win+E).
  2. Look for these specific paths separately:
    %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\{user profile}\Extensions
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\{user profile}\Extensions
  3. Search for folders titled as kpcijmdjpgpkndihacfcbidnehmcapgi, right-click them one by one and click Delete.
  4. Search for these directories:
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage
    %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage
  5. Look for the listed files and right-click them separately to delete:
  6. Then navigate to the listed path: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
  7. Find a couple of files called Preferences and Secure Preferences, right-click them separately and press Delete.
