NRA Toolbar Removal Guide

NRA Toolbar might appear on your Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers if you download it from the internet. As it is an old product, it is not likely that you will be able to download it from its official website. Actually, there is a tendency that programs downloaded from unreliable sources cause many security-related programs; thus, we do not recommend keeping it on your system. What is more, NRA Toolbar is going to change your default homepage and search engine the moment it gets on your system. Unfortunately, you will not be able to do anything in order to prevent this from happening. The only way to restore the changes is to erase NRA Toolbar itself.

How to erase NRA Toolbar

Windows XP

1. Open the Start menu.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Click Add or Remove Programs and click on the application.
4. Select Remove.

Windows 7 and Vista

1. Click the Start button.
2. Locate Control Panel and then select it.
3. Click Uninstall a program.
4. Right-click on NRA Toolbar and then select Uninstall.

Windows 8

1. Right-click on the Metro UI background.
2. Select All apps.
3. Locate Control Panel and then click on it.
4. Click Uninstall a program.
5. Select the application and then click Uninstall.

Internet Explorer

1. Launch your browser and tap Alt+T.
2. Select Manage Add-ons.
3. Click Search Providers.
4. Select a new search provider and then click Set as default.
5. Click on the unwanted search engine and then click Remove.
6. Tap Alt+T again and then go to Internet Options.
7. Under the General tab, type in your homepage URL. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Launch your browser.
2. Locate search provider icon near the search box at the top.
3. Click on it and then select Manage Search Engines…
4. Select the unwanted search provider and then click Remove.
5. Tap Alt+T.
6. Select Options.
7. Click on the General tab and enter you homepage address.
8. Click OK.
9. Tap Alt+T and then select Add-ons.
10. Select Extensions and then remove the unwanted extension.
