Delete from Windows XP:

Remove from Google Chrome:

  1. Launch Chrome, simultaneously tap keys Alt+F and select Settings.
  2. Under On Startup and mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  3. Change/delete the undesirable URL representing Maxwebsearch and click OK.
  4. Under Appearance mark Show Home button.
  5. Click Change and repeat step 3.
  6. Under Search click Manage search engines and select a new default search tool.

  1. Launch IE, simultaneously tap keys Alt+T and select Internet Options.
  2. Click the General tab on the left and find the Home Page box below.
  3. Overwrite/delete the undesirable URL and click OK.
  4. Simultaneously tap Alt+T again and select Manage Add-ons.
  5. Move to Search Providers and Remove the undesirable tool. Click Close.

Remove from Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Launch Firefox, simultaneously tap keys Alt+T and select Options.
  2. Click the General tab and navigate to the Home Page section.
  3. Overwrite/delete the undesirable URL and click OK.
  4. Move the cursor to the Firefox search box on the right.
  5. Click the search provider icon and select Manage Search Engines.
  6. Remove the undesirable search tool.
