Findr is a browser add-on which contains a search box and several links allowing the user to access Facebook, Twitter, and some other websites. Moreover, the terms Findr refers to a search engine which is promoted by the browser add-on or toolbar. Findr may alter the settings of your browsers, and all depends on you, especially when it is bundled with freeware. If you pay no attention to the license agreement, you may lose the chance to uncheck some options that prevent the installation of the toolbar. If you are eager to remove Findr, soon you will find out how to do it successfully.

Findr toolbar has a function that enables you to share your search results on Facebook and Twitter. Moreover, you can select its color out of 5 options. Interestingly, this toolbar supports only Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Note that Findr installs a browser helper object which might be used for monitoring how you browse the Internet so that the collected information can be used for advertising or other purposes.

If when running the installer of freeware you have paid no attention to the license agreement, your home page must have been changed to go.findsearch.com, and instead Google or any other search provider you are forced to use the Findr search engine. Once the search results are displayed, do not rush to click the first hit on the list. Bear in mind that the Findr search results contains links to advertising web pages, some of which may be irrelevant to your search query. Moreover, you may accidentally land on an insecure website promoting some services or good which are advertised in order to deceive computer users into exposing their sensitive data.

In order to remove Findr, we recommend implementing a spyware removal tool. We advise using SpyHunter as this spyware prevention software is capable of removing various types of computer threats. It can terminate Trojan horses, worms, keyloggers, and other dangerous infections which should not be present within the system.
