  5. Remove the unwanted search engine and set a new one.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Press and hold Alt and then press T to open Tools.
  3. Select Internet Options.
  4. In the General tab, remove and type in a new address.
  5. In the Search section in the same tab, click on Settings to change the search provider.
  6. Remove the unwanted search provider and restart the browser to see the changes.
