Remove from Internet Explorer:

  1. Open the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+T, and select Manage Add-ons.
  2. In the menu on the left select Search Providers and choose a new default search provider.
  3. Remove the undesirable search provider and click Close.
  4. Simultaneously tap Alt+T again and select Internet Options.
  5. Click the General tab and delete/overwrite the Home Page URL.
  6. Click OK and then restart the browser.
