B1 Toolbar Removal Guide

B1 Toolbar is a browser add-on which alters the settings of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox if you install an application which contains the installer of this toolbar. The toolbar can also be referred to as BrotherSoft Extreme2 B1 toolbar. It is publishe by Conduit Ltd, and if you use Internet Explorer, you will find two entries presenting the toolbar. In addition to the toolbar, you will find that the home page and search provider of the browser are changed to search.conduit.com.

B1 Toolbar Removal

Windows Vista and Windows 7

1. Open the Start menu and click Control Panel.
2. Click Uninstall a program.
3. Double-click BrotherSoft Extreme2 B1 Toolbar, Search Protect by conduit or any other application related to the toolbar.

Windows XP

1. Open the Start menu - > Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select the application you want to remove, and click the Remove button.

Windows 8

1. Hover the mouse over the lower left corner of the screen.
2. Right-click.
3. Select Control Panel - > Uninstall a program.
4. Double-click the program that you want to remove.

How to remove B1 Toolbar from your browsers

Internet Explorer

1. Press Alt+T and click Internet Options.
2. On the General tab, change the home page and click Apply.
3. In the Search section, click Settings.
4. Change the search provider.
5. Click Toolbars and Extension and remove the toolbar if it is still present.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+A.
2. Click Extensions and remove the unwanted add-on.
3. Pres Alt+T and click Options.
4. On the General tab, change the home page and click OK.
5. To change the search engine, open the drop-down menu and select a new search provider.

Google Chrome

1. Press and hold down the Alt key and press F.
2. Go to Tools - > Extensions.
3. Remove the unwanted toolbar.
4. Click Settings on the left side of the browser.
5. Find the On startup section and click Set pages. Change the startup page.
