Even though Loadstart.net is not a very popular browser hijacker, it can still sneak onto your computer and then change the settings of all the browsers, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, especially if you live in the U.S region because this infection targets people living there mainly. If you already see the changes applied by the Loadstart.net browser hijacker, i.e. your homepage and your search engine is replaced by the search engine promoted by this threat, there is no doubt that you have a browser hijacker inside your computer. At first glance, the search tool it sets (Loadstart.net) might seem to be a good search engine because it does not differ from other existing search providers the way it looks. Also, it returns search results, i.e. it works well and has quick access buttons that enable users to open such popular websites as Facebook, eBay, Amazon, Twitter, and others with the click of a button. Unfortunately, in reality, the situation is completely different, i.e. Loadstart.net is not a reliable search engine, which again shows that the appearance does not necessarily mean that the search tool can be trusted.

There are several reasons specialists working at 411-spyware.com say that Loadstart.net is not a search tool that users should use. First of all, it has become immediately clear for them that this search engine redirects all the searchers to plustnetwork.com. At first glance, the search results you will be provided with do not differ from those provided by reliable search engines, e.g. Google; however, if you look at them closer, you should be able to notice advertisements among ordinary search results. We cannot say that those sponsored search results are very dangerous, but we are sure that they have a potential of redirecting users to untrustworthy websites. These websites might promote unreliable software or simply have links leading to bad web pages. Some of them might even try to get personal details from you. It will be easier to remove Loadstart.net completely and then set another trustworthy search engine than try to avoid these sponsored search results because it is not so easy to say which of the search results are reliable and which cannot be trusted at all.

Loadstart.net itself and these third-party websites it will take you to might gather information about users. Unfortunately, it is very likely that some details that are considered to be personal will be gathered as well because the Privacy Policy document of Loadstart.net is not available. We have not found the End User License Agreement either, which shows again that Loadstart.net is not a reliable search tool. Therefore, we suggest getting rid of it. This is the only way to keep your privacy intact.

Sadly, Loadstart.net is only one from a bunch of similar untrustworthy search tools (e.g. houmpage.com, safebrowsing.biz, foryourweb.net, and esurf.biz). All these search tools are closely associated; it is very likely they are all created by the same software developer because they are hosted on the same web server 50.115.127.222. It seems that they are spread in the same way as Loadstart.net, i.e. they come bundled with freeware/shareware in software bundles, so you might encounter any of these unreliable search engines again in the future if you are not cautious. What you should do to prevent browser hijackers and other computer infections from entering your system is to pay closer attention to the information provided in the setup wizard while installing new software, download software from trustworthy web pages only, and, finally, install and enable a trustworthy antimalware tool on your computer.

It is not that easy to remove Loadstart.net because it modifies the shortcuts of browsers the second it enters the computer so that it could revive if a user sets another homepage and search engine. In order to make sure that it cannot do that, you have to fix those shortcuts. Below you will find instructions that will help you to do that; however, if you still do not know where to start, use an automatic malware remover, such as SpyHunter, to delete the Loadstart.net browser hijacker from your computer.
