Do you believe that PC Support Center is a program that you simply must install onto your computer? If you think that, you must have been fed false information that users usually encounter when they visit pc-support-center.net. This website was set up to showcase the potentially unwanted program that we strongly advise removing without further hesitation. Needless to say, this site does not expose the true nature of the suspicious PUP. Instead, it pushes users to believe that by installing the program promoted they will have their computer reinforced in the best way possible. This tool promises to handle automatic software downloads, which could potentially mean that it controls software updates as well, and that is suspicious. Additionally, this program promises to increase PC speeds by decreasing the “CPU and RAM usage.” We can assure you that your PC will not start working faster if you install this program, and this is just the first reason to delete PC Support Center.

We always recommend checking the legal information before installing software. Even if you are not very interested in the information provided, you need to check it anyway. In this case, all links that should provide you with external information (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Uninstall, and Contact Us) redirect to ispeed.club/welcome.php?utm_source=mm&utm_campaign=relatedoffers&utm_medium=relatedoffers. If you have been routed to this page, you must know that it has nothing to do with PC Support Center. Instead, this page promotes a Test to check your Internet speed! This should make it obvious to you that there is something very wrong with this program. Lack of official information is always a red flag, which is why you have to be extremely cautious about the information related to specific software. If you are not careful, and you download PC Support Center onto your computer, you will start receiving notifications pushing to call the so-called “computer support.” These notifications are not only irritating and misleading but also quite intimidating. This is why some computer users ignore this PUP instead of removing it.

Default.ini is a file that you will find installed at C:\Program Files (x86)\PC Support Center along with many other .dll, .dat, .exe, .lib, and .exp files. This file includes tasks regarding the viability of the associated alerts. All of these alerts are identical, but they promote different “support” numbers, including (1855) 573-7123, (1855) 265-6961, and (1855) 852-8520. Whichever number you see, do not call it. We can only predict what could happen if you did, and our predictions are not good. In the worst case scenario, you could be manipulated into disclosing personal information that could be used for identity theft, or you could be tricked into downloading other infections. Needless to say, it is best to ignore the warnings with the misleading support numbers. However, you should NOT ignore PC Support Center itself. This program is likely to employ data-tracking tools (e.g., cookies), and they could be used to spy on you, which stands as another reason to delete this program.

Have you found EZ Software Updater installed on your PC, and you have no idea how this program has entered your operating system? Well, we have an answer. The official installer of PC Support Center silently installs this program! The ability to install software silently is the kind of activity that we usually associate with malicious computer infections, not supposedly beneficial tools. If that does not prove that this potentially unwanted program deserves removal, it is unlikely that anything will. If you understand that you need to delete this PUP from your operating system, follow the instructions below. The first step shows how to uninstall this program, and the second step guides through the removal of leftover registry keys. You have to delete these registry entries if you wish to have the PUP deleted completely.

N.B. As you know, third-party malware could have entered your operating system, including EZ Software updater. We recommend researching every unwanted program to learn more about the removal. If you do not have the time to delete these programs one by one, we recommend using an automated malware remover instead.
