There is an abundance of potentially unwanted programs you should be wary of. InstantSupport is one of such applications that may not be your best bet when it comes to improving your system’s functionality. Please remove InstantSupport from your computer along with all the other associated applications. When a program is running on your system even if you do not remember installing it, there is a good chance that you are risking your computer’s security. Therefore, you have to do everything in your power to get rid of all the potential threats and protect your system from harm.

InstantSupport is exceptionally annoying because its interface pops up on every window or a new tab on your browser. At first, you may think that it is something useful, but during our tests we have found that InstantSupport is just a scam application that is there to swindle you out of your money. Sure enough, the program does not try to infect you with malware or anything like that, but it does not mean you should tolerate it. The pop-up offers you to call a number if you need an instant computer support and the “Microsoft trained technicains” (note the spelling mistake in the pop-up) will help you “resolve all your PC issues.”

There is no official website for InstantSupport, and we believe that this application is a complimentary part of other potentially unwanted programs. We have found that the app usually arrives with PC Accelerate Pro and other similar programs. It is very likely that you download InstantSupport yourself from file-sharing websites when you are looking for some other application. Please be very attentive when you download freeware from file sharing websites because such sites often distribute potentially harmful software in packages. It is also possible to avoid installing InstantSupport if you go through the installation process slowly, but users often breeze through the setup without giving it second thought.

Why is it not a good idea to keep potentially unwanted programs? Well, for starters, potentially unwanted programs usually come to your system uninvited, and no one likes uninvited guests. Next, those programs are often associated with other applications that might prove to be dangerous to your system’s security. Third, InstantSupport and other similar programs could be easily exploited by cyber criminals for corrupted content promotion and distribution. Finally, you should trust only legitimate and official applications that are recognized by computer security specialists.

Luckily, potentially unwanted programs are not malicious infections that are hard to remove. You can uninstall InstantSupport via Control Panel. That may not be enough to terminate all the potential threats, however. Check the list of installed programs to see whether you have any other application installed on the same day as InstantSupport. If so, perhaps you should remove that program too.

Not sure whether the program in question is potentially harmful? Scan your PC with the SpyHunter free scanner and then you will know which programs have to be deleted from your system for sure. If you cannot uninstall them manually, get rid of them automatically with the legitimate antispyware tool.
