Super PC Cleaner has proved to be neither “super” nor an efficient “cleaner,” but, rather, a way for its creators to generate income by making you register and pay for a useless program. We have found this application quite suspicious; therefore, we have labeled it as a potentially unwanted program, a PUP. This category usually contains applications that do not mean direct danger to your computer’s security, but they can, however, show questionable traits. For example, this PUP uses scare tactics to trick you into registering. It can also arrive along with malware infections, which can seriously lower your operating system’s level of security. Not understanding the potential risks surrounding this application might result in your keeping it on-board, which could lead to more infections and issues for your computer. Therefore, we advise you to remove Super PC Cleaner. But, in order to know why we say so, please read our full article so that you can make the right decision.

We have realized that this PUP is very similar to other alleged PC cleaners, such as PC Optimizer. The main goal of these useless programs is obviously to generate income for their creators. That is why Super PC Cleaner becomes rather questionable after you run a scan using the free version. As a matter of fact, this “super” software can scan your system in a few seconds and find hundreds or even 1000+ errors. Keep in mind that a proper, detailed scan could take up to half an hour for a professional, reputable program depending, of course, on the size of your hard drive and the parameters of your PC. So how reliable can the results of this super fast scan be? What’s more, this PUP does not even provide you any further information about these alleged errors. It simply informs you that “1044 unwanted items are potentially slowing your PC down.” Of course, if you register, you can fix all these issues; at least, that is what this PUP wants you to believe.

However, when you click on the Register button, you will get a hotline phone number to call, which is supposed to be a technical support line. We do not advise you to ever call that number. As a matter of fact, that same number has been used by other similar products, and it is not a toll free number. On top of that, you will also have to pay for the full version of Super PC Cleaner. It is also important to know that this PUP only removes some junk files from your computer; it will not “keep your system fully secure," as it promotes itself on its website, supercleansystem.com. We find this program totally unreliable and useless. Once you clean your system with the full version and run a scan once more, this PUP may find 1000+ unwanted items again. That clearly shows how “efficient” it is. We certainly suggest that you delete Super PC Cleaner from your computer because its presence is really not desirable.

What’s more, if you have this PUP on your PC, it can also be the sign of malware threats hiding on your hard drive. This can happen if you downloaded it in a freeware bundle containing several malware programs apart from Super PC Cleaner. For instance, if you have noticed third-party ads, such as banners and pop-ups, in your browser, there is a good chance that adware applications have infected your machine. If that describes your situation, you should remove Super PC Cleaner and make sure that all other potential threats get the same treatment as well.

There is at least one bit of good news about this PUP: You can easily remove it manually even if you are not an experienced computer user. It can be uninstalled via Control Panel. Locate the uninstaller in the list of installed programs and run it. If you are not confident regarding the necessary steps, please use our instructions below.
