How Did You Get Zlob Trojan?
Wondering how Zlob Trojan ended up on your PC? If you’re infected with Zlob Trojan or other badware, perhaps you were using…
- Freeware or shareware: Did you download and install shareware or freeware? These low-cost or free software applications may come bundled with spyware, adware, or programs like Zlob Trojan. Sometimes adware is attached to the free software to “pay” developers for the cost of creating the software, and more often spyware is secretly attached to free software to harm your computer and steal your personal and financial information.
- Peer-to-peer software: Do you use a peer-to-peer (P2P) program or other application with a shared network? When you use these applications, you put your system at risk for unknowingly downloading an infected file, including applications like Zlob Trojan.
- Questionable websites: Did you visit a website that’s of questionable nature? When you visit malicious sites that are fishy and phishy, badware may be automatically downloaded and installed onto your computer, sometimes including applications like Zlob Trojan. I recommend you use Firefox web browser, if you don’t already.
Understanding Zlob Trojan
If you’re infected with Zlob Trojan, you should know what you’re fighting. I’ll explain some definitions related to Zlob Trojan.
Zlob Trojan May Be a Trojan
Trojans install themselves secretly onto your computer, most often through your downloading a simple email attachment (often Trojans pose as harmless pictures). Most Trojans are able to gain complete control over your PC after installation. With this control, the Trojan and the hacker behind it may change your system settings, delete important files, steal your passwords, and watch your computer acitivity.
Infection Methods of Zlob Trojan and Other Trojans
Most Trojans infect your computer by tricking you into launching an infected file. This poisoned file could disguised as a small file, such as a jpeg or other email attachment, or it might be downloaded via a website or FTP.
- Email: Your PC may be infected with a Trojan when you download infected email attachments, or sometimes even when you simply open an email. Many Trojans exploit security holes in Microsoft Outlook. You may be able to reduce your chances of getting infected by a Trojan by using a spam-blocking software.
- Websites: Your PC may be infected with a Trojan when you visit a rogue site. Many Trojans exploit security holes in Internet Explorer web browser so that by simply visiting a website you may unknowingly download a Trojan.
- Open ports: If your computer runs programs that provide file-sharing functions - such as AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), MSN Messenger, and more - you may open your computer up to vulnerabilities. Using file sharing through these applications may create a network that gives attackers the opportunity to remotely access your computer.

AND I DELETED ALL THE FILES YOU SAID BUT STILL CANT GET IT OUT
I SPIT ON THE JERK WHO CREATED IT
Hi, Alexandru
Unless you’re really good with your PC, I suggest downloading the Zlob remover — I recommend SpyHunter to clean up and secure your computer because they have live support and custom fixes for parasites. You’re virtually guaranteed to remove Zlob quickly and safely.
I downloaded SpyHunter and ran it and it detects the Zlob trojans but it is not able to remove them. I manually deleted the files that you said, then ran a cleaner to clean up any traces that might have been left. On next reboot, all of the trojans were back. Very frustrating!
how to get zlob trojan removal for freee????
hi, i was infected with zlob a couple of days ago and used this thing called AVG free edition which lets you scan the computer and remove all trojan files for free and it worked but now whenever i try to close a page it just doesnt respond and i have to close it by Ctrl+Alt+Delete, does anyone know how to fix this???
I’m scared. >_< I don’t want to register with spyhunter with malware on my computer or they could take my credit card number I used to remove it. What do I do?
Use your Windows “On-Screen Keyboard.” That’ll keep keyloggers from logging your keystrokes and credit card number.
Rumor has it that this Trojan is just a neusense - little more than a nagger and pop-up spawning mechanism. NOT SO. This nasty bugger hijacks your browsers, prevents any attempts to install software and is self-replicating. Searching for solutions of course presents thousands of “free scanners and paid fixers” netting profiteers big bucks from the distribution of the Trojan. I’m on my third Windows Defender/AVG/Malwarebytes scan running from both the vicitm machine and another computer mapped to the victim’s boot drive and so far after ten hours of work it looks like there’s a complete format/reinstall in my future. It’s time the FCC or some other agency stepped in and started prosecuting the purveyors of this nonsense. It’s no different than someone kicking in your front door, smashing your cable box with a sledge hammer and offering to sell you a satellite TV subscription on the spot. What’s worse, this Trojan is hitching a ride on some pretty obscure exploits because I’ve seen it on VERY WELL PROTECTED Windows boxes.

having the same problem i have a registered version of spyhunter it detects the zlob trojan attempts to remove but gives me the message it cant remove do i want to remove on reboot i say yes it reboots and the trojan is still there. I manualy removed all the files ran a check and poof they were all right back so i have no clue on what to do and wondering why i bought spyhunter if it isnt gonna work.
make sure you disconnect your internet when you attempt any removals ok ……
otherwise it will just load itself again .
also still looking for a free remover as spy hunter is awesome minus the fact oh yeh it doesn’t remove whats the point of a trial if you cant even see if it’s effective.
I am needing help on getting rid of a trojen Zlob on my vista computer. i have tryed alot of ways to do it and still can’t get rid of it. i need help.
SO FRUSTRATING!, plz help me
I was scanning my computer with Spybot Search and Destroy, and i noticed the ZLOB files being scanned, but nothing being done to remove them by the program.
Then i did some research on the ZLOB trojan and this website
(http:// http://www.Symantec.com/ security_response/ writeup.jsp?docid=2005-042316-2917-99 &tabid=3)
apparantly says that my Spyware scanner (Spybot) is also know as the ZLOB trojan itself.
So i searched some of the ZLOB files to be removed manually and none of them came up.
So i am confused on what to do, whether to delete Spybot, to get it checked by a professional, or to just leave it becuz my computer isn’t really malfunctioning, even though my second computer on the network is malfunctioning due to the trojan i think.
