System Defender is a fake antivirus program. It is a direct clone of Internet Defender and it is just as dangerous as its forerunner. Despite its name it cannot defend your system and if you have this program in your computer, it means nothing but trouble. System Defender has many ways to enter your system, but when it does, the rogue is configured to start automatically whenever you turn on your computer and your Windows boot up.

Then System Defender takes the usual plan of action, common to any other rogue – it performs a fake system scan. After the “scan” the rogue presents you the review of harmful and/or potential unwanted items, saying that there are 18 infected files in total, and 14 of them have severe/high alert level. If you review these items, you will see the threat name, alert level, category, description and even a piece of advice what you should do about it. However, you should never follow the instructions of System Defender.

The reason is that System Defender is a rogue antispyware. It CANNOT find and remove viruses from your computer. The only reason why it has been created and why it is there in your system is that it wants your MONEY. System Defender fakes an infection and presents you with the list of non-existent parasites in order to make you pay for the full version of the rogue. According to System Defender, only the activated version of the program is able to remove all the threats.

If the scan weren’t enough, System Defender also sends you a whole load of fake security alert messages that are there to intimidate you and force to pay for this worthless product. Do not pay attention to any of these messages, because they are all made up by System Defender:
