  5. Click Search Providers in the menu on the left and select a new search engine.
  6. Click Set as default.
  7. Click on the search engine which you want to remove and press the Remove button.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Alt+T and then Options.
  3. Under the General tab, enter the URL of a new homepage and press OK.
  4. Find the search engine icon at the upper part of your browser and select a new search engine from a drop-down box.
  5. Click on the icon of the search provider and click Manage Search Engines…
  6. Select the search engine which you want to remove and click the Remove button.

Google Chrome

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Alt+F and go to Settings.
  3. Under the heading On startup, mark the third option and click Set pages.
  4. Enter the URL of a new homepage and click OK.
  5. Under the heading Search, click Manage search engines…
  6. Select a new search engine and click Make Default.
  7. Click on the search engine which you want to remove and click X.
