  2. Select Extensions, find the unwanted add-on, click on the trash icon and select Remove.
  3. From the menu on the left, click on Settings and move to Appearance.
  4. Select Show Home button and click Change. Overwrite/delete the unwanted option and click OK.
  5. Move to Search and click on Manage search engines.
  6. Click Make default on the preferred search engine and X on the option you wish to remove. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+H and select Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click Reset Firefox.
  3. Click Reset again and then click Finish.
