Developers behind the new rogue Home Security Solutions has done a good job at creating an authentic and realistic looking rogue security tool. This destructive rogue was designed with one goal in mind, and that is to rip users off. It will not protect your PC or remove threats as it purports to be able to. Instead, Home Security Solutions will deceive you into thinking your system is under attack and will pretend to protect it against threats after you pay for its worthless software. It will then provide a false sense of security to its victims, making them feel like their PCs are being protected when in fact they are not.

Home Security Solutions will enter the system surreptitiously and will not reveal its presence to the user until it is ready to start its attack against the system. The rogue uses deviant websites to promote its products. These websites use a fake antimalware scanner called Windows Web Security. Once the user logs on to one of the websites, Windows Web Security will perform a ‘scan’ and deduce that there are many threats on the system and advise that the user download and execute Home Security Solutions on his system. Other methods are less transparent where Home Security Solutions hijacks legitimate websites and then use drive-by download tactics to ingrain itself into its victims’ PCs.

Some of the websites known to host the Windows Web Security scanner include the following:

WWW5.THEBEST-AV-FORYOU.COM
SECURE1.SMARTWASUITE.COM
SECURE1.THEBEST-ARMYFYA.COM

Home Security Solutions will start its attack on the system by initiating a fake security scan. This fake security scan will launch each time the user logs on to Windows. Home Security Solutions will create numerous harmless files on the system and then report them as severe threats. Some of the files Home Security Solutions will report on through its fake security scan of the system are:

ANTIGEN.exe
CLSV.drv
CLSV.sys
ddv.sys
eb.dll
FW.dll
grid.exe
kernel32.exe
kernel32.tmp
pal.exe
snl2w.sys
std.exe
tjd.exe

The user will also receive numerous fake security messages stating that his PC is being attacked, such as this:

Attention! 20 infected files detected!
Scan Result: Your computer is infected!
Recommended: click “Remove All” button to erase all infected files and protect your PC

Users will also come to experience various annoying symptoms of this infection. Home Security Solutions will blame it on the supposed threats it detected. Some of the symptoms associated with Home Security Solutions include users not being able to connect to the Internet, extremely poor system performance and rapidly increasing erratic system behavior. There does seem to be a way to circumvent these annoyances, simply enter any of the following activation keys into the rogue:

K7LY-H4KA-SI9D-U2FD
U2FD-S2LA-H4KA-UEPB

If you allow Home Security Solutions to remain on your PC indefinitely, and even pay for its worthless software, your PC is going to degrade beyond repair. Destroy Home Security Solutions with the help of a powerful security tool which will in turn protect your PC against similar future attacks.
