NaviPromo Threat Level:
NaviPromo is adware that tracks your browsing activity so it can drown you in NaviPromo popup and pop-under ads related to whatever you’re doing. NaviPromo installs itself with rootkit technology, making it hard to remove. I recommend you use an automatic NaviPromo remover (yeah, shameless plug, I know I am pimping one).
Or you could always throw your PC out the window.
AdGoblin Threat Level:
AdGoblin is adware that installs itself as a browser helper object (BHO), and pops up enough annoying ads on Internet Explorer that AdGoblin might even make your browser unusable. You could try removing AdGoblin through the usual remove/uninstall applications. And if that doesn’t work?
Throw your PC out the window.
IntelligentAdvisor Threat Level:
IntelligentAdvisor is adware that pops up enough annoying ads on Internet Explorer that IntelligentAdvisor might even make your browser unusable. You probably caught IntelligentAdvisor from installing PlayMP3z. To remove IntelligentAdvisor, just add/remove IntelligentAdvisor or PlayMP3z like any other program.
And if that doesn’t work?
Throw your PC out the window.
CasinoOnNet Threat Level:
CasinoOnNet is adware that might have installed onto your PC through a Trojan or virus. I recommend you use an automatic CasinoOnNet remover (yeah, shameless plug, I know I am pimping one).
Or you could just throw your PC out the window.
WebBuying is adware that launches annoying popup ads. WebBuying might track your web surfing history and send it to third-parties for marketing reasons. WebBuying might also nestle into your web browser and change your settings to fit whatever ad campaigns WebBuying is forcing down your throat.
Unless you like a billion popup ads interrupting your sessions at YouPorn.com CNN.com, remove WebBuying.
ActivShop Threat Level:
ActivShop is adware that installs itself as a BHO — “Browser Helper Object” — in Internet Explorer. ActivShop may launch annoying popup ads on your PC, and ActivShop may also hijack your searches and show related ads in a sidebar that it downloads from ActivShopper.com.
ActivShop may also be known as “ActivShopper,” or, “Major Annoyance.”
Dcads Toolbar Threat Level:
Dcads Toolbar is a toolbar that pops up ads and might install more malware and rogue anti-spyware into your PC. Dcads Toolbar might slow do your system, and even make it crash. Getting Dcads Toolbar popups that read, “Ads served by Dcads” or “Ads served by Superiorads”?
Throw your computer out the window. Or remove Dcads Toolbar.
Your pick.
Vapsup Threat Level:
Vapsup is adware that doesn’t just pop up ads on your PC or change your search results — Vapsup also slows down your connection while it may try to steal your information and send it to third parties for marketing analysis or identity theft.
Unless identity theft sounds like a fun way to spend your weekend, delete Vapsup.
Trojan-Spy.KeyLogger.rp Threat Level:
Trojan-Spy.KeyLogger.rp is a trojan that opens a backdoor in your system to import tons of spyware and adware. Besides getting flooded with tons of popup ads from Trojan-Spy.KeyLogger.rp, Trojan-Spy.KeyLogger.rp also becomes a security issue.
You wouldn’t let a stranger into your house, so don’t let them into your computer. Even if they’re hot (yeah, that means most porn, sorry).
DivoPlayer Threat Level:
DivoPlayer is multimedia software designed to play certain files for you. When you launch DivoPlayer, though, it’ll secretly install malware and adware onto your PC. DivoPlayer may popup and popunder ads even when DivoPlayer isn’t on, interrupting your web browsing and other activity.
