PripecsThreat Level: Pripecs is a Danger

Pripecs , AKA Priceps Trojan, is a severe threat to your system. Trojans like Pripecs usually end up on your PC when you install a game or open an image/video file.

Pripecs tries to convince you that it is a nice freeware program or plug-in while it lurks in the shadows, waiting to infect your computer, download more Malware, and turn over your PC’s control to a hacker.

You might have received Pripecs as a “free gift” with a Peer-to-Peer download, but Pripecs is also capable of lurking in hidden content at Rogue Sites, where it carries out a drive-by download.

It can be extremely difficult to detect and remove Pripecs, and Pripecs can do incredible damage – not only to your PC, but also to your privacy and security.

If you feel like giving, give to charity instead of giving control to a hacker via the Pripecs Trojan. I’ll show you how to remove Pripecs for free.

Deposit Pending email Threat Level: Deposit Pending email is a Pest

Deposit Pending email screenshotDeposit Pending email arrived in my mailbox today.

Although I know better, I clicked on the link, just to see what sort of scam the Deposit Pending email was trying to pull. The link redirects to clicksmartaffiliates.com/z/1961/CD10/&dp=170977 – go figure.

I already have this site blocked, so I could not see what the results from clicking the Deposit Pending email link would be, but I’ll be the farm that it’s an Ad site, a scam site, perhaps even a rogue site that pushes drive-by downloads.

Crooks like that rely on people’s curiosity and trust. Why call them crooks? Consider that lying about where a link leads is already very suspect. No legitimate site would do that.

Before you waste your time and get robbed of your peace of mind, let me show you how not only to delete the Deposit Pending email, but also block the clicksmartaffiliates site for free.

“Private Message Awaits” email Threat Level: “Private Message Awaits” email is a Pest

“Private Message Awaits” email screenshot“Private Message Awaits” email came from my ‘dear buddy’ twenb05itxf3@aim.com.

Then again, every one on aim.com seems to know me intimately, because I get the “Private Message Awaits” email from several aim.com users every day, not to mention several other titles, to the tune of 3-10 emails daily! And, until I received these emails, I didn’t even know what aim.com was (I live a protected life, I guess).

Was I ever out on a date with twenb05itxf3? His “Private Message Awaits” email seems to suggest so. Hhmm. I can’t imagine saying: “I love you so much, twenb05itxf3!” And – erection problems? I’m a girl! Or perhaps twenb05itxf3 is trying to get me to buy him some help for his lifeless member.

Besides the subject line “Private Message Awaits” email, aim.com users also use several other email subjects to get your attention:

Personal Message
You’ve got mail from (username)
Information message
Personal message awaits
One (1) new message

Don’t click on any links in the “Private Message Awaits” email email, unless you want to give your retirement savings to online pharmacies and malware-ridden porn sites. Let me show you how to block aim.com and get rid of this SPAM attack for free.
