We have recently received reports that a certain program, called has been appearing on computers right out of the blue. We took a look at the application, and research has shown that is malicious, and you should remove it. This article is dedicated to providing the most recent and important information about this program. So, if you want to learn more about it, please continue reading.

Research has shown that the application is distributed via its own dedicated website at It is advertised as an application that will help users login to their emails quicker. Those of you who have this application have obviously noticed that the application also has a built-in toolbar that features bookmarks to email provider websites. But as mentioned, the program comes out of nowhere as well. Our research has shown that often comes bundled with other malicious software. So you might have got it when you were installing a program, which you downloaded from a shady freeware sharing website.

Once the program is installed, it immediately changes the default homepage to In our opinion this is unacceptable, and if you are concerned for your computer’s security you will remove this supposedly useful application. Its search engine cannot be trusted, since it has been modified and the search algorithm might favor some shady websites. In any case, no person has that many email accounts to need a toolbar that features bookmarks to the most popular email providing websites.

The toolbar features bookmarks to Gmail, AOL, Yahoo, Outlook, and Hotmail. It also has a bookmark for Google maps, which is somewhat out of place. We argue that this application is not useful, since you can make your own custom bookmarks. Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and some others have a bookmarks toolbar by default. If you have been annoyed by this application, you should remove it using our removal instructions provided at the bottom of the article.

All in all, is not something you would want to have as browsing companion. It comes bundled with malicious software, and is installed without the user’s consent. Upon installation it hijacks the main homepage of the browser and replaces it with its own. Clearly, nothing good can come from this application, so we recommend that you remove it using our removal instructions. If you are having trouble with the application, we recommend that you get an antimalware scanner that would delete and possibly other malicious apps that often come bundled with it.
