  6. Right-click these files and press Delete.
  7. Search for this directory: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
  8. Locate files named Preferences and Secure Preferences.
  9. Right-click them separately and choose Delete.
  10. Leave File Explorer.
  11. Empty your Recycle bin.
