Onmylike.com may seem like a regular search engine; however, it is categorized as a malicious browser hijacker which may corrupt your web browsers. Do you know how the threat works? Researchers have discovered that the infection changes the home page and the search provider of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers without your knowledge. Unfortunately, the hijacker runs as a search engine and many affected computer users employ it as an authentic search tool. This is a huge mistake because the allegedly authentic search engine is not reliable at all. In fact, you should be suspicious about just because it appeared on your browsers without your knowledge. Needless to say, if you do not remove Onmylike.com hijacker and ensure full-time Windows protection, schemers could use bundled downloads, spam email attachments, social engineering scams and other security backdoors to infiltrate other dangerous threats. If this happens, malware removal can become much more complicated.

Are you familiar with dosearches.com, v9.com and portaldosites.com hijackers? They come from the same family as Onmylike.com hijacker, and they all share the same tricks and tactics. All of these hijackers are represented as search engines, and all of their interfaces are nearly identical. If you have already performed any searches you must know that this engine does not provide you with original search results. In fact, it redirects you to Google Search, and this is extremely suspicious. Even if you trust Google, it does not mean that you can trust the suspicious Onmylike.com. The search engine is operated by TMinidigital Technology Co., and you should read through the company’s Privacy Policy which can be found at the bottom of the truly suspicious search engine. Even though it is indicated that the search engine is safe to use and you do not need to fear any illicit activity, you definitely should not run it because it was installed illegally.
