Our research team has come across an adware application, called TomorrowGames. This application is hard to come by, yet it is still on the Internet, silently waiting to strike, to deliver a crippling blow its unwary victim – the computer. Indeed, applications, such as TomorrowGames can open up the floodgates for far more dangerous malware to arrive on your computer’s hard drive and wreak havoc on it. But in all seriousness, this browser extension can cause serious problems so you should remove it as soon as possible.

As mentioned, TomorrowGames is a rare adware application to find, because it does not have a dedicated website from which it can be downloaded. It is possible that the application is on the brink of death, metaphorically speaking of course. But it can still be found on various freeware sharing websites bundled with good software. So you should be careful when downloading something from websites, such as Soft32.com, Softpedia.com, Brothersoft.com, and so on. The research has shown that the application is identical to DoReMe, FlashBeat, and NavRight. The creatores of these applications is unknown, and it is unlikely that we will finds out, but that is not that important anyway. The important thing is to remove TomorrowGames and its counterparts before they start making trouble.

Adware-type applications are being created for one single purpose – to make money for their developers. In all honesty, the developers do not care about the users, they do not want to provide a genuine service that would really benefit all Internet surfers, and all they want to do is accumulate as much revenue as possible. Therefore, it is typical of them to make business arrangements with various shady third parties. These largely unknown entities use the advertising capabilities of adware such as TomorrowGames to promote illicit applications, such as keyloggers, worms, backdoors, rogue applications, and many more.

The developers distance themselves from any responsibility if anything were to happen to the users of TomorrowGames. The developers do not endorse the promoted content, and often have no idea what is actually promoted. And even if they knew, they would not care, because at the end of the day it is all about money. There is, however, one more thing we would like to shed some light on.

TomorrowGames has the ability to gather information about the users of the infected computer. the application cannot collect personally identifiable information, but it is still rather unpleasant. The application collects data such as IP addresses, search and browsing history. It relays the information back to the developers so they could make changes to the marketing campaign. TomorrowGames might display pop-ups, coupons, and banners containing personalized ads that are based on the browsing preferences.

It is easy to see that TomorrowGames is a kind of application that you really would not want to have on your computer. It displays unreliable commercial advertisements that come from unreliable sources. The program is able to collect information about the users browsing habits I order to show customized, more appealing ads. So we recommend that you remove the application using our guide or get an anti-malware scanner that would delete it for you.
