RopeInSavings is an application that will not help you save a dime while shopping online, because that is not the reason why it was created. You should remove the program, because it is an adware-type grogram designed to annoy you with commercial advertisements and make money for its developers and clients. The application is not only annoying, but dangerous as well. It must be said that at the time of the writing of this article the application was not available for download, because it either was not released or was temporarily out of circulation. In any case, if you have RopeInSavings you should remove it as soon as possible.

RopeInSavings’s developer is something of a mystery. The program’s website, called Ropeinsavings.com, has no information about it. The site has the usual Privacy Policy and Terms of Use subpages that have no mention of the part that created this “gem.” This is not the first time our researchers at 411-spyware.com have come across an application such as RopeInSavings. The program and its webpage are almost identical to PriceChomper, Price Slayer, PriseHorse, and a few others that have been released prior to RopeInSavings. The websites differ in design, but contain the same copy-paste information that is of no use to anyone.

This application has supposedly been created to “enhance” your Internet browsing experience, but it only serves to hinder it. Once your computer becomes infected with RopeInSavings, you will be subjected to various sponsored links. Pop-ups, coupons, banners, and in-texts will appear and show you third-party advertisements for which the developers of RopeInSavings are not responsible. They cannot be held accountable and liable for damages if you get tricked while paying for something at a fictitious online retailer, or if you get your computer infected with malware that steals passwords, logins, and other personal information. So, you should definitely remove this application, because there is no telling what might happen if it continues to remain on your computer.

The end user license agreement says that “you use the plugin [']as is['] and entirely at your own risk. If the Plugin doesn’t work, or unintentionally contains a virus or other harmful code, or if you experience errors and interruptions when you use the Plugin or its associated services, we are not liable.” We think that this statement says everything you need to know about this infection. So you should definitely remove it before you get a nasty surprise one day.

It is as clear as day that RopeInSavings is an infection that can infect your computer with malicious software or hurt you financially if you decide to use your credit/debit card or other type of online payment solution to pay for something at a bogus online vendor. Therefore, our researchers recommend that you remove this application manually or get an anti-malware scanner that can do it for you.
