Warezov is a family of worms that infect computers through spam. Emails carrying Warezov are usually styled like an undelivered message or software update, with Warezov attached. After Warezov sneaks into your system, it spams your contacts with a similar message, and attempts to download updated versions of itself from sites. The worm may also block your access to some sites by changing your computer’s HOSTS file, and stop your security software by killing their related processes.

Secure Antivirus Pro screenshot Secure Antivirus Pro is a fake anti-spyware program up to the usual tricks. Secure Antivirus Pro pops up false security alerts to try and scare you into wasting money on Secure Antivirus Pro. These Secure Antivirus Pro popups may read:

“It seems that your computer is infected with W32:Virut virus. This threat has been designed to steal money, Internet accounts, send massive amounts of spam, and commit various kinds of fraud. It is recommended that you remove this threat immediately to avoid participating in criminal activity. Do you want to remove Virut now?”

You’re not really infected with Virut — likely, the only threat on your computer is Secure Antivirus Pro.

http://InternetSecurityMetrics.com says: Warning!!! Your computer contains various signs of viruses and malware programs presence. Your system requires immediate anti viruses check! System Security will perform a quick and free scanning of your PC for viruses and malicious programs.”
And:
The page at http://InternetSecurityMetrics.com says: Your computer remains infected by viruses! They can cause data loss and file damages and need to be cured as soon as possible. Return to System Security and download it secure to your PC”

Despite InternetSecurityMetrics.com’s “warnings,” the only threat you’re dealing with is one to your sanity: InternetSecurityMetrics.com.
