FYI, we don’t create any software, let alone any #@!% badware. We understand your frustration, but most likely badware snuck onto your computer, started harassing you, and you Googled this badware, and landed on 411-Spyware.com’s instructions to remove this badware. That’s it. We’re not associated with #@!% software.
Give me a refund. Now.
A refund for…? A defective unicorn? Puppy? Software? We don’t make any, but we do recommend some (software). If you want a refund from Spyware Doctor, you can get one here. If you want a refund for Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, try here. If you want a refund for #@!% software, you’ll have to take that up with those mother#@!%’ers. Seriously, though, if you’ve bought some badware, like fake antispyware, you should consider canceling the credit card you used.

If badware is preventing Spyware Doctor from running, try this:
- In Windows Explorer, open the Spyware Doctor program folder.
- Find the pctsGui file, and rename it to something else. It doesn’t matter what you call it. Anything is fine.
- Double-click the renamed file, and Spyware Doctor should open.
- Change any start menu or desktop shortcuts so to lead to the renamed file.
I registered Spyware Doctor to remove badware, and I’m still infected.
Badware is like a virus—we mean the real kind, like the ones that give us the flu. Every year we fight them off, but they’re constantly morphing into something slightly different, so that we always have to play catch-up.
Sometimes our antispyware programs need a nudge. To get your Spyware Doctor up to speed with the current badware, follow these steps:
- In Spyware Doctor, go to the Help menu, click on About, and make sure you’re up-to-date with Version 6. If you have an earlier version, upgrade.
- Clear your temporary internet files. Different browsers have different ways of doing this. If you don’t know how to do it with your browser, ask Google.
- Restart your computer in Safe Mode with Networking, open Spyware Doctor, and run a full scan. Repair any infections that are found.
- Restart your computer in normal mode, and everything should be fine.
