X.Cab Threat Level:

X.Cab is a "dialer" that appears in fake security alerts from rogue antispyware IE Antivirus. X.Cab popups read:

"Warning From IE Antivirus
Adult Content Dialer
x.cab identified by SpywareBlaster"

This X.Cab popup is supposed to scare you into buying the fake antispyware IE Antivirus. You may have caught "X.Cab" by a drive-by download, or getting tricked into downloading a fake video codec.

Unless you like getting ripped off, don't download the software the X.Cab popup links to. You're not really infected with X.Cab -- you're infected with fake anti-spyware that you need to remove.
