“9 Spyware Found” Popup screenshot “9 Spyware Found” popup is a fake security alert from scareware WinBlueSoft. This “9 Spyware Found” popup reads:

9 SPYWARE Found. Attention: DANGER! WinBlueSoft has detected 9 Critical SPYWARE Objects while scanning the system. Following object will shortly interrupt system running by: annoying advertisements wasting your traffic; slow page downloading speed. Web browser is not working properly; cyber thieves get access to credit card; criminals will steal your personal data and photos; hackers will get access to email box, personals, hosting and Internet services. They will use your computer and IP address for illegal purposes. Register WinBlueSoft to block or remove threatening objects. Click “Remove” to register the version to render revealed threats.”

Click “Remind Me Later” until your mouse breaks. If you follow this WinBlueSoft popup’s prompts, you’ll get tricked into wasting money on WinBlueSoft. WinBlueSoft is total scamware — it can’t even remove the imaginary “9 spyware” found on your PC. All WinBlueSoft does is remove credit from your AmEx.

“Warning!” Wallpaper screenshot “Warning!” wallpaper is a symptom of being infected with scareware WinBlueSoft.

“Warning!” wallpaper is also a prediction that you’ll take a baseball bat to your PC.

This desktop “Warning!” is created by WinBlueSoft to trick you into wasting money on the scamware. It reads:

“Warning! Your’re in danger! Your computer is infected with Spyware! All you do with computers is stored forever in your hard disk. When you visit sites, send emails… All your actions are logged. And it is impossible to remove them with standard tools. Your data is still available for forensics. And in some cases For your boss, your friends, your wife, your children. Every site you or somebody or even something, like spyware, opened in the browsers, with all the images, and all the downloaded and maybe later removed movies or mp3 songs – ARE STILL THERE and could break your life! Secure yourself right now! Remove all Spyware from your PC!”

WinBlueSoft creates other fake warnings — popups, spoof system alerts — to scare you into thinking you’ve got spyware. If you follow these alerts — such as the “Warning!” desktop — you’re tricked into blowing dough on the “full” version of WinBlueSoft.
