RazeSpyware may not really detect and remove spyware parasites from your computer, but may mark your computer’s normal software as threats and issue false allerts to try to trick you into buying the “full version” of RazeSpyware. RazeSpyware may damage your PC. RazeSpyware may be a variant of other trojans/rogue anti-spyware programs, including SpySheriff, Spyware Soft Stop, SpyFalcon and SpywareQuake.
Spyware Quake may pretend to be legitimate software for removal of spyware, but Spyware Quake may actually be installed by a trojan. Spyware Quake may attempt to trick you into buying the program via pop-up fake alerts that resemble system alerts. The trojan may be able to change Internet Explorer’s default home page and redirect your web browser to harmful web sites. SpyFalcon is a rogue anti-spyware application. SpyFalcon may appear as an icon in your Windows tray and show a message that says your PC is infected with malware. SpyFalcon may then suggest you download and install software to remove this malware. If you follow its directions, you will download SpyFalcon, and once downloaded SpyFalcon may redirect your Internet Explorer home page and search results to a malicious website. SpyFalcon may also download and install other software without your permission. SpyFalcon may be distributed through bundles of trojans and other malware.
MediaCodec is a trojan that may install rogue anti-spyware and fake security programs without your knowledge. When you attempt to watch certain adult/porn videos, MediaCodec may pretend to be a necessary codec or upgrade to Windows Media Player to trick you into downloading it. Once MediaCodec is downloaded it may contact remote servers and download rogue anti-spyware applications, such as SpywareQuake.
