Spy-Rid is another rogue anti-spyware application. Like other fake anti-spyware, Spy-Rid scans your PC and gives you false positives. Spy-Rid may also pop up fake security alerts to try and trick you into buying Spy-Rid. You may have installed Spy-Rid yourself from a website, or Spy-Rid may have downloaded itself onto your computer through a trojan or web browser security holes.

Like your ex, Spy-Rid just wants you for your money. Dump it.
