SmitfraudFIXTool screenshot SmitfraudFIXTool — AKA Smitfraud FIX Tool — is more fake anti-spyware software. SmitfraudFIXTool has nothing to do with reputable anti-spyware program SmitFraudFix– except SmitfraudFIXTool’s trying to ride off SmitFraudFix’s good name.

You probably caught SmitfraudFIXTool thanks to a Trojan like Zlob or scam website. Once SmitfraudFIXTool is in your system, SmitfraudFIXTool tries to trick you into buying the “full” version of SmitfraudFIXTool with phony system alerts, and by noting harmless files as dangerous.
