SaveDefense screenshot SaveDefense is fake security software from the same family of scamware as SaveKeep, SaveSoldier, and TrustNinja. Just like its buddies, SaveDefense hustles you for money the usual scareware way. Save Defense sneaks onto your PC through a Trojan or is downloaded through a rogue website. Once SaveDefense is in, the scamware automatically boots with your computer, then fakes scanning your system for threats. SaveDefense will swear you’re infected with imaginary badware that you need to buy the “full” version of SaveDefense to remove. Don’t trust the scareware? You’re smart, but your screen’ll drown with SaveDefense popups to try to get you to think otherwise. If you click any of these SaveDefense alerts, you’re prompted to waste money on the scamware.
