SafetySettings.com may be a tracking cookie that may monitor your web browsing activity and personal information as your surf the Internet. SafetySettings.com may then send your data to its parent server. SafetySettings.com might change your home page to SecurityInfoHere.com. SafetySettings.com may also popup ads telling you you’re infected with spyware (like “Your Computer is Infected”, “Virus Alert”, “Security Alert”), to try to get you to download rogue antispyware software such as Pest Trap, VirusHeal, or AntiSpyware Shield.
