You could be browsing the web, and out of nowhere a HomeSiteRenew.com/security/xp popup appears:

"The page at http://www.HomeSiteRenew.com/security/xp says:
Warning! W32.Myzor.FK@yf is a virus that infects files with .exe extensions. It attempts to steal passwords and private information from the infected computer.

Slogod Threat Level:

Slogod is the most annoying worm on earth. Slogod haunts you with popups. Slogod popups launch regularly, and are a French parody of the "Our Father" prayer.

Slogod also removes "Documents" and "Recently Opened Documents" shortcuts from your Start Menu, deletes files from your Recycle Bin, and gets rid of the "File" menu from all your folders. Slogod also blocks System Restore and Autoplay, so that removing Slogod manually is an issue.

Before you BBQ your PC to get rid of Slogod and that Slogod popup, I'll show you how to get rid of Slogod for free.
