Coupon.exe screenshot Coupon.exe is a Trojan attached to a spoof McDonald’s email. Coupon.exe gets linked to from a fake McDonald’s email, subject line “McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!”

Sounds friendly, right?

Wrong.

Though Coupon.exe may allow a hacker to get very close and cozy with your PC — and likely all your personal and financial information.

“McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email Threat Level: “McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email is a threat

“McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email screenshot “McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email is a spoofed McDonald’s email that downloads a Trojan onto your machine. This “McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email offers you McDonald’s coupons, in the form of an attachment, coupon.zip. This “McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email attachment is actually a Trojan, which will likely rip a backdoor into your PC so hackers can access your system.

So much for a merry Christmas.

If you downloaded this “McDonalds wishes you Merry Christmas!” email attachment, delete the attachment immediately. You should also run an antivirus/anti-spyware scan, so that software will catch this bastard.
