Lsas.Trojan-Spy.DOS.Keycopy is a bogus Trojan that appears in fake security alerts created by scareware Malware Destructor 2009. This Trojan-Mailer.Win32.Spambot popup reads:

“WINDOWS SECURITY ALERT! Lsas.Trojan-Spy.DOS.Keycopy is suspected to have infected your PC. This type of virus intercepts entered data and transmits it to a remote server.”

If you see this Lsas.Trojan-Spy.DOS.Keycopy “Windows Security Alert,” you’re not infected with Lsas.Trojan-Spy.DOS.Keycopy — you’re infected with scamware Malware Destructor 2009. Malware Destructor 2009 births bunches of spoof alerts to scare you into buying the “full” — or “fool”? — version of Malware Destructor 2009. Even if Lsas.Trojan-Spy.DOS.Keycopy really snuck into your PC, Malware Destructor 2009 couldn’t remove it. The only thing Malware Destructor 2009 removes is credit on your AmEx.
