Card.exe Threat Level: Card.exe is a threat

Card.exe screenshot Card.exe is a Trojan that spreads through a fake e-card email. Card.exe gets linked to from a greeting card email, subject line “An E-card from Jeff.”

Sounds friendly, right?

Wrong.

Although, Card.exe will allow a hacker to get very cozy with your PC — and likely all your personal and financial information.

When you click the link in “An E-card from Jeff” (http://greetingcardcalendar.com/?code=eb9b8b2ea5), you’re taken to a fake greeting card site that downloads Card.exe onto your PC. Card.exe is most likely a Trojan that’ll rip a backdoor into your system.

“Applehebi” popup Threat Level: “Applehebi” popup is a danger

“Applehebi” popup is a Trojan that latches onto hacked downloads of WinRAR.

The Trojan behind this “Applehebi” popup may change your system’s hosts file, so that your visits to popular sites (Facebook, Google, MSN etc.) are redirected to a fake Microsoft security page, that tries to trick you into downloading more malware.

If you see this “Applehebi” popup, you’ll need to delete your current version of WinRAR, before you can remove this “Applehebi” popup.
