VirusRescue is a clone of SpywareQuake and is similar to other rogue anti-spyware software, such as SpyHeal, SpySheriff, SpyFalcon, PestTrap, RazeSpyware, SpyGuard, VirusBlast, SpyAxe, and Alfa Cleaner.
VirusBlast is rogue anti-spyware software that may popup fake warnings about spyware threats in attempt to trick you into buying the full version of VirusBlast. NetNucleus may track what website you visit and your search queries so that it can launch targeted pop up ads and other advertisements at you while you browse the internet and even when you are offline. NetNucleus may hide from you and secretly update itself on your computer without your permission. Because of this, NetNucleus toolbar is often hard to uninstall or remove. NetNucleus is similar to Mirar, NN_Bar, GetMirar.
Alfa Cleaner is a rogue anti-spyware application that may show fake security warnings, typically in the form of an icon in your system tray. Alfa Cleaner’s false alerts may really be an advertisement launched by Alfa Cleaner trojan. Alfa Cleaner may display these fake security warnings in attempt to trick you into purchasing the “full version” of Alfa Cleaner to remove non-existent threats from your computer. Alfa Cleaner may download other harmful software onto your computer.

RazeSpyware may damage your PC. RazeSpyware may be a variant of other trojans/rogue anti-spyware programs, including SpySheriff, Spyware Soft Stop, SpyFalcon and SpywareQuake.

SmitFraud is a trojan that may hijack your computer to display popup advertisements on it. SmitFraud may pose as shareware designed to protect your computer, when it may actually install spyware threats and malware onto your PC.
