Scan4Fan.info screenshotScan4Fan.info is a scam site that runs a “free” system scan. What a deal. Only the scan is fake, and Scan4Fan.info tells you you’re infected with spyware that doesn’t exist, and pops up false security alerts to trick you into buying rogue anti-spyware for about $50. This Scan4Fan.info popup reads:

The page at Scan4Fan.info says: Windows is scanning your system for threats. The scanning is provided by our official partner Internet Antivirus Pro. Please refrain from closing the window until the scanning is finished. We highly recommend you to install the full version of Internet Antivirus Pro scanner to monitor your PC for threats and on-time security system updates.”

No matter what you click, you get another Scan4Fan.info pop-up alert:

“Please note that Spyware is highly malicious for your PC information privacy. If you want to install the full version, please click “Ok”, wait for the page to load, start the installation process and follow the instructions. If you want to wait for scanning results to appear, please click “Cancel”. After Internet Antivirus Pro is installed, you can close the scanning window and remove Spyware from your computer.”

And then one more Scan4Fan.info popup, if you try to cancel its installation:

“Serious security and privacy threats found on your computer. It may damage your files or steal your personal and financial information. Click “OK” to start downloading CRITICAL security software update.

Despite whatever Scan4Fan.info says, if you don’t remember how you got to Scan4Fan.info, the only crapware you’re infected with is Scan4Fan.info.

Let me show you how to block Scan4Fan.info and remove Internet Antivirus Pro, for free.
