Once Badware Protector is in, Badware Protector tries to trick you into buying the “full” version of Badware Protector with phony system warnings, and by noting harmless files as dangerous.

If you already paid for Badware Protector, you can try to get a Badware Protector refund here. I’d save my time and sanity, though, and call my credit card company to cancel the Badware Protector order. Then I’d just uninstall Badware Protector.
