Protection System Pop Up screenshot Protection System popup is a false security alert launched by scareware Protection System. This Protection System pop-up window reads:

“Protection System. There is unauthorized software detected on your computer. It is recommended you to remove it, otherwise it could conflict with Protection System. Press ‘OK’ to remove Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware_is1″

By “conflict with Protection System,” this pop-up means that your legit security software (Malwarebytes, AVG, etc.) might detect Protection System for what it is — a scam. Protection System wants you to disable your antivirus software so that Protection System can run amok, and slow down your PC with spoof system scans and alerts telling you you’re infected with non-existent threats.

If you’re seeing these Protection System popups, don’t remove anything it advises. All you need to do is remove Protection System. So let me show you how to uninstall the badware.

Protection System screenshot Protection System is scareware — that’d mean software designed to scare you — disguised as security software. To keep you from detecting Protection System as a rogue, Protection System tries to uninstall your legit security software, such as Avast!, AntiVir, AVG, F-Secure, Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, NOD32 and Norton Internet Security. Like other scareware, Protection System likely launches with your computer, and spoofs scanning your system for security holes. Protection System scan’s results? Think a long list of non-existent threats, and pop-up ads and fake system alerts detailing imaginary spyware on your PC. Protection System may actually list necessary Windows files as threats — so don’t try to remove any files Protection System dubs spyware. If you follow these Protection System popup’s prompts, you’re conned into buying the “full” — or “fool”? — version of Protection System.

Before Protection System popups make you set fire to your PC, I’ll show you how to uninstall Protection System.

CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 screenshot CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 is another fake antivirus program. Like other scareware, CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 installs itself onto your PC through a Trojan or browser security hole, and launches loads of CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 popup ads. These CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 pop-ups are exaggerated security alerts, created to trick you into buying the “full” version of CoreGuard Antivirus 2009.

CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 has a twist, though: to protect itself, CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 will block legit anti-badware programs, including MalwareBytes’ Anti-Malware, F-Secure, NOD32, Avast, AntiVir, AVG, and Norton Internet Security. When CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 blocks this software, CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 plays this popup:

“There is unauthorized antivirus software detected on your computer. It is recommended you to remove it, otherwise it could conflict with CoreGusard Antivirus 2009.”

The only thing CoreGuard Antivirus 2009 really conflicts with is you holding onto your sanity and your dough. Let me show you how to remove CoreGuard Antivirus 2009, for free.
