Zlob.QualityCodec Trojan may install itself onto your system without your permission, through your system’s or web browser’s security holes. Once installed, Zlob.QualityCodec may open a backdoor security hole that allows anonymous attackers to control your computer, allowing this remote attacker to execute commands, install more malware, and steal your credit card and personal information. Zlob.QualityCodec may also install rogue antispyware software and create excessive of popup ads. Zlob.QualityCodec may be related to the Zlob and its family of Trojans, which includes Zlob.GoldCodec, Zlob.BrainCodec, Zlob.MediaCodec, Zlob.PornMagPass, and Zlob.iVideoCodec. Trojan Zlob: Eupdatepage

Eupdatepage is a browser hijacker that may be the result of the ZLOB Trojan, which is a trojan masked as a media codec. Eupdatepage may infect your computer and then create false security alerts - titled “Your Computer is Infected,” “Virus Alert,” or “Security Alert” - telling you that your computer is infected. To remove these imaginary threats, you may then be instructed to download rogue antispyware software, such as Adware Punisher, MalwareWipe, Pest Wiper, SpywareStrike, SpyGuard, SpyAxe, SpyTrooper, SpyiBlock, VirusBurster, WinAntiSpyware, VirusBlast, and VirusBurst. Your home page may also be changed to Eupdatepage.net, Eupdatepage.com, or another unfamiliar site. Besides possibly downloading rogue antispyware without your permission, Eupdatepage may also track your personal data and activiity and transfer this information to parent servers, putting your financial and personal information at risk.
