Trojan Zlob-X.a Threat Level: Trojan Zlob-X.a is a pest

Trojan Zlob-X.a is a backdoor Trojan, but most often Trojan Zlob-X.a appears in fake security alerts from rogue antispyware, like IEDefender. This Trojan Zlob-X.a popup is supposed to scare you into buying the fake antispyware. It may read:
“Your system is probably infected with latest version of Trojan.Zlob-X.a. Download antispyware software
Name: Defender-install.exe
Type:Application,2.69mb
From: iedefender”

Or
“Your system is probably infected with lastest version of Trojan.Zlob-x.a Full system optimization will greatly increase your computers performance and prevent data loss. Click OK to download antispyware software (Recommended).”
Unless you like getting ripped off, don’t download the software the Trojan Zlob-X.a popup recommends. You’re not really infected with Trojan Zlob-X.a, you’re infected with fake anti-spyware that you need to remove.

AntiSpywareUpdates is more rogue anti-spyware. AntiSpywareUpdates may have installed onto your PC through trojan Zlob. AntiSpywareUpdates may popup annoying fake scans and fake security alerts to try to scare you into buying rogue anti-spyware PerfectCleaner. This AntiSpywareUpdates popup may read:

“Warning, spyware threat has been detected on your PC.”

Despite what AntiSpywareUpdates claims, the only thing AntiSpywareUpdates and PerfectCleaner remove is money from your pockets.

These security alerts from WarningIEpage.com may tell you you’re infected with a Trojan or virus that may attempt to steal your personal information. If you click WarningIEpage.com’s popup’s “OK” button, you may be taken to a page to buy rogue anti spyware, such as SpyLocked, MalwareWipe, SpyHeal, Pest Capture, or Anti virus Golden. If your web browser’s home page has been reset to WarningIEpage.com without your permission, you may be infected with Trojan Zlob. To reset your browser home page, from Internet Explorer, select “Tools,” then select “internet Options.” Delete “WarningIEpage.com,” and enter whatever URL you prefer (e.g., “http://www.yahoo.com”). To remove WarningIEpage.com completely, you’ll need to remove Trojan Zlob from your system.
