PCSweeperPro Threat Level: PCSweeperPro is a pest

PCSweeperPro screenshotPCSweeperPro is fake — or rogue — antispyware. PCSweeperPro will run “security” scans and popup fake system alerts that tell you your privacy is at risk. This PCSweeperPro popup reads:

“DANGER!!! Compromising files
Your internet privacy is being threatened.
Download PC protection for Free”

PCSweeperPro’s goal? To scare you into paying to remove these non-existent “compromising files.” Rather ironic, considering PCSweeperPro might download more spyware onto your computer, and a Trojan may have installed PCSweeperPro.

PCSweeperPro? More like PCSuckerPro. Forget removing those “compromising files” — remove PCSweeperPro instead. www.PCSweeperPro.com
