Files Secure 2.2 may be another rip-off, rogue anti-spyware application, like its daddy, Files Secure 2.1. Files Secure 2.2 installs on your computer through Trojans dressed up as fake video codecs. Files Secure 2.2 gives you exaggerated security scans and/or popup security alerts to try to scare you into buying Files Secure 2.2 for $38.95-$68.95. This Files Secure 2.2 popup may read:

Your browser was hijacked by Trojan.Win32.Agent.akk
You need to clean your system immediately, in other case [SIC] it can be crashed soon!
Click OK to download the high-tech antispyware protection software! (Recommended)”
The worse news? Files Secure 2.2 may not actually remove any supposed threats. The second worse news? Files Secure 2.2 may recreate itself, making it hard to remove manually. www.Files-Secure.com
