AntiVirProtect 2.1 is just another rogue anti-spyware, a clone of SpyShredder. You might have caught AntiVirProtect 2.1 from a Trojan, like Zlob. Like other fake anti-spyware, AntiVirProtect 2.1 popups and fake scans try to scare you into buying AntiVirProtect 2.1.
If you click these popups, you’re taken to a AntiVirProtect.com to buy the “licensed” version of AntiVirProtect 2.1. AntiVirProtect 2.1 may also give out your credit card info and install malware onto your PC.
