VirusBlast is rogue anti-spyware software that may popup fake warnings about spyware threats in attempt to trick you into buying the full version of VirusBlast. VirusBlast’s fake warnings may appear in your taskbar as security alerts (created by a trojan) or on your desktop background. VirusBlast may be difficult to manually remove. VirusBlast may also come bundled with other rogue anti-spyware software, such as SpyFalcon, SpywareStrike, SpywareQuake, Smitfraud, and SpyAxe.




SysSecuritySite is a web browser hijacker that may redirect you to www.SysSecuritySite.com. SysSecuritySite may issue fake security messages that popup in attempt to trick you into buying a rogue anti-spyware application. SysSecuritySite may also advertise rogue anti-spyware programs like
SpywareStrike is anti-spyware software. SpywareStrike may display an icon in your computer’s tray that may flash a warning that your PC is infected with dangerous malware and spyware, and then prompt you to download and install an anti-malware application. This anti-malware application is SpywareStrike, which may be illegally distributed. When you click on this message, the trojan may open the official web site of SpywareStrike, and then may try to download SpywareStrike. SpywareStrike may change your Internet Explorer default home page and send you to malicious web sites. SpywareStrike automatically launches every time you restart your computer.
